K'auai Macquettes

HOTEL ST. REGIS PRINCEVILLE RESORT

Artist FRANK COLSON has been invited to submit models for a spectacular lobby entrance at the Hotel St. Regis

situated along the Napali Coast of K'auai in Hawaii. The proposed architectural wall would measure fifteen

feet high by twenty-six feet wide, and reflect the topography of the natural jagged coast line of the site.

The designs for this architectural wall would incorporate water as it flows through crevices and ebbs past

imbedded fiber-optic lighting, lighting which would animate the surfaces of sculptured walls.
